The founders and producers of The Relationship Theatre are proud to present their latest psychoeducational/dramatic piece: Working with Distancers and Pursuers.™ The production company consists of both psychotherapists and actors, dedicated to bringing the craft of the dramatic experience and the know-how of the wise therapist together for the pleasure and growth of the Gestalt, Imago and other therapeutic communities.

Jackie Cohen

The Founders are: Jackie Cohen, L.C S.W., B.C.D, has been in private practice in Lower Merion, PA working with individuals, couples and families for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and a graduate and faculty member of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia. She has conducted supervision and training groups in Gestalt Therapy. Her acting study began in childhood and continues to the present. Sunny Shulkin

Sunny Shulkin, L.C.S.W., B.C.D. is a co-founder of Relationship Theatre. She is in private practice in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., where she specializes in all aspects of relationship: individuals, couples, couples intensives, couples' workshops, and supervision of therapists working with couples. She is one of the five Master Therapists and Trainers of Imago Relationship Theory and Therapy in the U.S., including Harville Hendrix, Ph.D.

stu Cohen

Associate Stu Cohen, PhD, SEP, is a clinical Psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in the private practice of psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families.

In addition to an abiding interest in systems dynamics and mind body healing, he has been providing musical accompaniment for Relationship Theatre, and has recently ventured into acting in some of the workshop scenes, thanks to the inspiration and encouragement of his wife, Jackie Gordon Cohen.Phone Stu at (610)664-5805.

Ira Orchin

Associate Dr, Ira Orchin is a psychologist with offices in Center City and Bala Cynwyd specializing in the normative challenges and crises of men at mid-life. As a senior consultant for Strategic Interactions Inc., he has delivered training in leadership development, communication skills, and conflict management to corporations and law enforcement agencies in 15 countries. In addition, he offers Alaskan wilderness retreats for fathers and sons and camping retreats for fathers and daughters in the Delaware Water Gap area. sandraFriedAssociate Sandy Freid M.Ed. is a Philly native. She received her B.S.Ed. from Temple and a M.Ed. from Villanova with her certification in School Counseling. After teaching and counseling in Philadelphia public and private schools, Sandy practiced fee for service counseling in managed care and her own private practice. She trained in and practiced a body-centered psychotherapy incorporating Gestalt theory, Feldenkrais Movement, The Alexander Technique, and Ericsonian Hypnosis.

Sandy's interest in acting began in 1998 with a class at Walnut Street Theater. She has created and acted in an autobiographical solo performance piece and has participated in classes with Playback Philadelphia.

THE CAST
Carol Moog Carol Moog, PhD has been in private psychotherapy practice in Bala Cynwyd, PA since 1981. A psychologist with graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, she works with children, adolescents and adults, with particular emphasis on discovering personal resources, goal clarification and skill development. Using an eclectic approach and a wide range of creative modalities, she draws from her training and experience as a writer, musician, student of ComedySportz Improvisation Theater, Playback Theater, Pig Iron Theater, Theater of Witness and Walnut Street Theater. She has published numerous articles and is the author of the the William Morrow published book "Are They Selling Her Lips?" Her phone number is (610)667-1540.

Stacy Green, MSS, LSW is a student in Bryn Mawr's Ph.D. program who has been singing since she was a teenager. This is the first time she adds her incredible voice to a Relationship Theater production. Professionally, she specializes in the issues of young adults at Lower Merion Counseling Services as well as in her private practice. She is married to Mario DiCiocco, an executive coach and she has one son, Lucas, age 8. She can be reached at 215-803-8314.

George Leute M.A. is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Media. George began his acting career while in kindergarten at the age of four. He starred in the Christmas production. As a cast member of Relationship Theatre, he is proud that he embraces his comedic and dramatic talent in this play, his second performance. George can be reached at 610-801-9071.
